Our Commitment to Donor Privacy & Trust

Pure for Cure is an initiative of Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati, a registered public charitable trust. We deeply respect the trust you place in us when supporting our mission. We never sell, rent, commercialize, or trade donor personal data with any third party.

1. Information We Collect

When you make an online or offline contribution, register to volunteer, or communicate with us, we may collect the following information:

• Personal Contact Details: Full Name, Email Address, Mobile/Telephone Number, and City/State.
• Section 80G Statutory Data: Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Postal Address, which are statutory requirements mandated by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Government of India, for filing Form 10BD and generating official 80G certificates.
• Transaction Information: Date, time, donation amount, selected service initiative (e.g., AIIMS Guwahati Kiosk, BBCI Cancer Care, Flood Relief), payment method (UPI, Card, NetBanking), and unique Razorpay Payment ID.
• Sensitive Financial Data NOT Stored: We do NOT collect, view, or store your debit/credit card numbers, expiry dates, CVVs, netbanking passwords, or UPI MPINs. All payment transactions are processed entirely through encrypted, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant servers managed by Razorpay.

2. Purpose of Collecting & Processing Data

We use your information strictly for legitimate charitable trust functions:

• Generating, verifying, and dispatching your official digital Section 80G Tax Exemption Receipt.
• Filing required statutory returns (Form 10BD) with the Income Tax Department so your donation reflects in your annual Form 10BE / AIS.
• Transmitting transactional confirmations, receipt PDFs, and updates via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
• Coordinating shifts, training, and emergency calls for registered volunteers and CSR partners.
• Internal financial auditing, accounting, and compliance with Assam State and Government of India charitable regulations.

3. Data Security & Encryption Protocols

We employ robust technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data:

• 256-Bit SSL Encryption: All information transferred between your web browser and our website is protected using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL).
• Strict Role-Based Access: Access to donor records and PAN databases is restricted exclusively to authorized finance and accounting personnel of Hare Krishna Movement Guwahati.
• Zero Commercial Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, license, or exchange our donor mailing lists or personal details with any corporate advertiser, telemarketer, or external agency.

4. Authorized Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with select reputable third-party service providers solely to fulfill technical and financial operations:

• Payment Processing: Razorpay Software Private Limited (Certified PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway provider) handles all card, UPI, and netbanking processing under stringent RBI and banking security guidelines.
• Statutory Authorities: Income Tax Department, Government of India, for annual Form 10BD/10BE filing.
• Transactional Messaging: Reputable cloud communications platforms for automated delivery of receipt emails and SMS confirmations.

5. Data Retention Period

As mandated by Indian tax and accounting regulations, donation transaction records, 80G receipts, and corresponding PAN details are retained for a minimum of seven (7) financial years to satisfy legal compliance and tax audit requirements.

6. Your Rights as a Donor

You have the right to:

• Request a duplicate copy of your Section 80G tax receipt or annual donation summary statement.
• Inspect or update your personal contact details (such as updated phone number or email address).
• Opt out of non-essential informational newsletters or service updates at any time by notifying us.
